Job Title : Java/Oracle Developer ( MAPSIS)

Programming and documentation work on the MAPSIS system dedicated to  tasks on the MAPSIS Workplan including user interface, data model and reports development.

Resource will work at the direction of the technical lead and other project staff to implement required functionality using one or more of the technologies listed above.  The resource will perform analysis of system artifacts as needed.  The resource will write and unit-test code as components are developed, will check out and commit source code changes in the MAPSIS subversion repository, and will comment code components as directed by the technical lead or other project staff.  The resource may be tasked with related documentation activities as directed by the technical lead or other project staff.   A major focus for this phase of development will be on loading data from the State's Medicaid system, and building user interface components that allow the user to selectively load this data on individual client records.

Resource is expected to

•Design system changes to functional and technical programming standards. Code changes will be consistent with the existing application codebase in terms of overall application architecture adn Java API usage.

•Conduct structured walk-throughs

•Work with Team Lead to gather and interpret user requirements into design specifications

•Develop system specifications and interfaces.

•Document code and database objects

•Develop time estimates and schedule for work

•Work with users to ensure that solutions meet business requirements

•resolve issues in a timely manner.

•Identify and track issues, risks and action items

These activities will be conducted from outside the agency network with limited knowledge of the network design and infrastructure. Based on details required from the assessment efforts and other publically accessible information, the tester will attempt to gain access to agency resources. Daily progress reports will be required outlining testing details, progress and plans. All major vulnerabilities and/or successful breaches will be reported to agency contact immediately.
