The Client utilizes .NET software to support Web Based
Application initiatives within the agency. This current initiative involves
re-engineering, re-writing and implementing the replacement of a legacy Delphi
8 application in C#.NET for the Office of Fiscal Services.
C#.NET Developer with experience developing and implementing web
based solutions on a Microsoft platform, using Oracle or SQL Server relational
database. The .NET Developer will provide analysis, programming and
documentation services to the Web and Business Solutions section of the Office
of Information Services. Specific duties of these IT professionals
include, but are not limited, to:

Work directly with a team of State business and development staff;
utilizing .NET software connected to a relational data base.
·
Translate business requirements into a sound and thoroughly
documented system design.
·
Participate in and support the life cycle development of a .NET
web based application. The current initiative involves developing and
implementing automated web application process for the Program Quality Control
System (PQCS), for the Office of Fiscal and Monitoring Services.
·
Follow the JFS structured software development process, design,
develop and test algorithms, screens and processes using .NET v3.5 software,
Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, and Oracle 10g or SQL Server 2005 relational
database.
·
Develop, design and create Business Intelligence reporting
processes.
·
Create technical and user documentation according to JFS
standards.
·
Create useful and application supportive help screens geared to
novice end user needs.
·
Assist with the system and user acceptance testing of the final
product, making application program changes as directed or appropriate.
·
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills in the
English language.
·
Transfer of Knowledge to ODJFS staff.
