Looking for someone with this type of background: Live production environment, growing environment, System DBA, methodology to run a fully operational environment. Looking at Availability of data, performance backup recovery, look in on data on the box. Data latency, what is the issue..could network, Teradata issue, hardware problems. More system side than application DBA. Looking for people who have come from a large Teradata environment: BoA, USPS, Postal Services, Anheuser-Busch, Burlington Northern, Walmart are examples..there are hundreds of large Teradata shops they could come from.
Big environment. Large, Complex environment, 100+ Terabytes, high side, low side, 2 physical locations.

Hands on, not a manager of DBA
Renewable every Sept, 2 years+ duration.
Any Linux is a plus (it’s a Unix environment)
