Ability to understand data structures needed to analyze large-scale complex business information.
·         Excellent SQL skills with experience in tuning, optimizing, and automating complex data-base queries.

·         Ability to understand the data needs of research analysts and the business constraints of processing and reporting large data sets.

·         Experience working in a statistical environment to create datasets for analysis
·         Ability to quickly learn company practices of screening and cleaning data.
·         Experience responding to ad-hoc reporting needs, while ensuring data-integrity via validations and data-correctness checks.
·         Ability to proto-type solutions; ability to understand and use UDF’s and OLAP functions.

·         Knowledge of Teradata architecture and experience with Teradata tools BTEQ, FASTLOAD, MULTILOAD, and FASTEXPORT.   
·         Experience working on multiple time-sensitive tasks in parallel; able to learn quickly in an evolving environment; able to work independently.
·         Excellent oral and written communication skills.
·         3+ years experience with Teradata SQL or equivalent.

Knowledge of network security tools. Must be able to lead a group of network engineers.

Check Point firewall experience required including Virtual firewall and Checkpoint VE on VMWare A plus
