Role : Lead Business Analyst w/ Healthcare Reform

Location : Hartford CT (or) Blue Bell PA.

Job Description:

·         Business Analyst Business Analyst will be responsible for participating on business/functional teams as part of a larger project effort. Specific functions to include:

·         Identify and validate clients' business needs and requirements

·         Participate and in some cases lead requirements workshops/JAD sessions to identify business needs and requirements

·         Document current business processes, business flows, rules and artifacts, and propose To-Be/Future business processes, business flows, rules and artifacts

·         Produce detailed requirements documents, including use cases and requirements traceability matrices

·         Formulate test strategies, test plans, test scripts, and test data, as required

Required Key Skills

·         8+ years of Business Analysis experience

·         5+ years of Health Insurance and understanding of HealthCare Reform

·         2+ years of lead experience

·         Lead & conduct business requirement gathering sessions

·         Create use cases

·         Analyzing of business requirements to develop technical specifications

·         Lead JAD sessions and create appropriate required documentation as required for the client

·         Perform business level gap analysis by understanding client's business processes and requirements

·         Documenting the requirements into approved document template adhering to internal SOPs and work instructions

·         Working with technical managers and project managers in finalizing the business requirements and documentation compilation

·         Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies

·         Full Software Development Lifecycle experience and Understanding of healthcare life cycle (eligibility, claims, and remittances)

·         Understanding of HIPAA

·         Understanding of Healthcare EDI transactions

·         Program/Project Management experience is a big plus

·         Ability to work independently and handling multiple projects

·         Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in analytics, informatics, Computer Science, programming, health care administration or business

·         Strong MS-Office skills (Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is a must
