Description: Develop, maintain and support internal systems for the Quantitative Research department at a leading Investment Management company. These applications handle large amounts of financial data and implement the firmÂ’s custom pricing algorithms. Be involved with all aspects of system development (requirements, design, build, test, support) using Full Project Life Cycle. Interact with investment professionals including Portfolio Managers and Quantitative Analysts; write system documentation.
Requirements:
* Strong Java developer with 5+ years’ experience in object-oriented design*
Front End development including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Servlets, JSP*
Web based Java EE (session beans and transactions) on WebLogic, WebSphere or TomCat*
Database modeling and querying on Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, or DB2*
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills*
Excellent verbal and written communication skills*
Financial industry a plus Technical skills: Java skills must include garbage collections, APIÂ’s and libraries.
Database skills must include table design, stored procedures and queries Industry:

Experience: 8 - 10 Years
