Title : Network Engineer (CISCO, CCNA)

Location : Atlanta, GA

Duration : 12 months

 

You will be charged with maintaining network equipment and devices. This includes installation, configuration of networks. This role will also troubleshoot and resolve any network incidents, monitor systems, and make performance recommendations.

• Candidates MUST possess advanced knowledge with CISCO - Valid Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE Certification

• 5+ years of experience supporting, designing solutions using Microsoft Windows Server, VMware, HP hardware and Cisco network infrastructure administration

• OSPF, BGP, STP, VTP, MPLS knowledge required. Previous experience in financial institutions or insurance is a plus.

• Possesses broad knowledge in architecting and implementing complex telecommunications or data system integration solutions.

• Displays high-level abilities in one or more technical disciplines within the telecommunications or data network arenas including, but not limited to routing/switching infrastructures, transport technology, or network protocols.

• Deploys architected enterprise network infrastructure solutions, either working alone on specific tasks or as part of a deployment team.

• Possesses understanding of information technology (IT) infrastructure operations

• Implements and tests solutions based on project scope and design/engineering specifications

• Resolves issues proactively that arise during project implementations or during operational assignments

• Provides additional operational support as required

• Project management including implementation

• Maintain, support and track network issues

• Monitor performance in including reporting

• Conduct network analysis

• Routing and Switching

o LAN and WAN interfaces and a variety of routers and switches

o Networking technologies and protocols related to global network operations

• Network Security

o Security protocols and components such as VPN solutions and security features

o Configuring complex, end-to-end secure networks, troubleshooting integrated environments, and understanding common attacks and mitigation techniques

• Voice

o Building and configuring complex end-to-end telephony networks, as well as troubleshooting and resolving VoIP related problems.

 

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent work experience.

• CCIE and/or CCNA Certification

• Experience in telecommunications business a plus

• Insurance experience a plus

Hiring for Software QA and Test Locations: Virtual in North America

The following is a job description for Software QA and Test functions where we are looking for virtual

candidates throughout North America

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Design, develop and Lead Quality Assurance processes and methods to test software application releases and new client deployments. This involves putting structures in place to ensure that new functionality is correctly implemented, known bugs are fixed, and regression testing is performed.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and coordinate test plans, thereby ensuring plans are complete and will validate testing. Testing

will be for both applications as well as for data‐drive reports and databases.

• Lead the software quality assurance function and perform final signoff as condition for production system

release

• Provide post‐implementation support for all deliverables

• Develop relationship with internal operating groups and external customers

• Manage test environment for integration testing activities

• Manage testing software scripts

• Develop functional specifications and new customer report templates for technical analysis

• Effectively working with Business Analysts and Product Managers to meet deliverable deadlines for various Projects

Technical Requirements:

• Must have 2+ years of application testing experience, including application testing and/or report and data

validation testing

• Extensive experience with functional test execution

• Extensive experience designing test cases

• Some experience writing queries to verify backend functionality

• Moderate knowledge of HTML, SQL, and/or PHP

• Some business analysis experience

• Knowledge of data models and relationships between data elements

• Experience writing data‐driven reports, working with data to create reports 

Communication Skill Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability presenting to small work groups on both technical and functional requirements

• Ability to thrive under production pressure and deadlines

• Strong conceptual and planning skills

• Strong communication (verbal and written), time management skills, fast learner, self‐motivated, and

• comfortable taking initiative and handling multiple projects simultaneously
