Senior-level Lead Microsoft .NET Developer C# with strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server. The candidate should be experienced as a lead developer. This is application development, NOT Web development.
Potentially lead to full-time employment.
Local candidate preferred but not required.
Client seeks a Lead Microsoft .NET C# Developer (“Developer”) to assist in development of systems and related applications for the Arkansas Statewide Longitudinal Data System. The position will be housed in Little Rock Arkansas and will work collaboratively with the Arkansas Department of Education.
The position will develop, maintain and support information technology applications according to expectations using Microsoft .NET and Microsoft SQL Server technologies. Typical work day might include gathering project requirements from stakeholders, architecting, developing, maintaining or troubleshooting SQL queries or programs in Microsoft .NET C#. Additionally, the Programmer will interact with multiple levels of project stakeholders and assist in the development and delivery of printed and web-based tutorials and related literature in support of the project. Occasional travel may be required to attend training or meet with project stakeholders.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should be motivated, well-organized, and comfortable working on multiple technical projects that utilize the Microsoft.NET framework as well as Microsoft SQL Server. A general understanding of information technology principles, including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office programs is required. Bachelor’s degree required in computer science or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Relevant industry certifications in Microsoft .NET and Microsoft SQL Server preferred.
