Key Accountabilities:

- Act as a single point of contact for all data management center deliverables during the Study Set-up, conduct and close-out phases

The Benefits application is programmed in a combination of Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, Unix scripting, and COBOL languages. There are a fair number of programs that are written in COBOL so the resource needs to be able to both read the code and modify existing code as needed or write a new module within an existing COBOL program. In addition, the resource needs to be comfortable compiling cobol.

The Oracle database the resource will be working on resides on a Windows environment/server however the associated batch environment resides on Unix. This may change to Linux fairly soon. ISS1- The Information Security Specialist 1 will work with the Information Specialist 2 in achieving the State’s information security goals and objectives.

The ISS 1 will develop and implement a sustainable Public-Private collaborative Information Security program, along with a fully functioning IT Sector Workgroup to support NJ’s Infrastructure Advisory Committee.  Working with OHSP, the Information Security Specialist 1 will establish and maintain a contact list of all public and private entities that will comprise membership in the Workgroup and develop processes to expand membership and maintain active and ongoing communications within the Workgroup.

The ISS 1 will work with various technical staff within OIT and other state agencies, and OIT will develop content for IT sector specific portal to provide outreach, information sharing and analysis of cyber security within NJ.
Working with the Statewide Office of Information Security, develop and document information security policies, procedures and standards.

Healthcare Required§

Integration experience Required§

Informatica experience Required§

Must be able to perform§ "Technical Lead" responsibilities

Must be an experienced Senior Systems Analyst capable of leading a§

large scale integration project

Minimum of 7 years experience in multiple system environments,§

including distributed systems

 

Job involves:

·         Combining multiple technologies to provide alternative physical solutions.

·         Perform analysis of business models, logical specifications and/or user requirements to design N-tier open solutions .

·         Understand various tools and technologies on the market and their appropriate usage.

·         Exhibit ability to design an entire system configuration including hardware, software, and communications.

·         Capable of leading a tool evaluation effort, including the definition of the evaluation criteria, identification of tools to be evaluated, and the actual evaluation.

·         Experience in integrating multiple technologies.
